A SLICE OF UNHURRIED SWEDISH LIFE
A few years ago, we opened the doors to our small boutique hotel Örum 119 in the coastal countryside of southern Sweden. We think breakfast is a big, if not the main, part of a memorable hotel experience, and we've been giving this end of our guest's stay our absolute focus all along. Everything's been scaled down to a simple base note of calm and serenity, a peaceful backdrop for the senses to do their thing. Our bakery – the heart of the premises – provides our breakfast chefs with fresh croissants, sourdough bread, granolas, mueslis, and more while our guests get to enjoy the true unhurriedness of the Swedish countryside. Here we want to share recipes inspired by the culinary offerings of the Scandinavian region, with the occasional influence of the continent.
